Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Manage inventory and requisitioning of spare parts to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
- Handle work orders and coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Optimize preventative maintenance work orders to reduce costs and improve equipment reliability.
- Review and develop corrective work orders to address maintenance-related issues.
- Identify and detail safety requirements for maintenance tasks, including permits and special procedures.
- Participate in health and safety initiatives, environmental management systems, and energy conservation programs.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management systems (CMMS) or software programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industrial maintenance operations and equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven knowledge and experience with 5S methodology.
- Above-average planning, organizational, and scheduling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices.

This role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying degrees of moderate physical labor. The incumbent will be exposed to heat, dust, noise levels, and equipment such as sharp blades and presses. Considerable sensory attention is required, and the work pace may be unpredictable.
