Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Writer to join our dynamic team. The Service Writer will act as a liaison between customers and our technical service team, ensuring smooth service operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Interaction: Provide outstanding service to customers in-person and over the phone, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Service Documentation: Accurately document customer concerns and service requests, maintaining a clear and concise record.
  • Work Orders: Create detailed service orders and work orders based on customer descriptions and technician assessments, ensuring timely completion of work.
  • Scheduling: Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the technical service team to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Communication: Communicate service updates and job status to customers in a clear and professional manner, maintaining transparency and trust.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all service transactions, including customer interactions and work performed, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Payment Processing: Assist in processing payments and handling billing inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including the service counter and customer waiting area, promoting a positive customer experience.
  • Additional Tasks: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, supporting the team's efforts to deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in customer service, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a technical service or retail environment.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with service management software.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, supporting the company's mission to deliver exceptional customer service.
