Job Title: Registered Nurse

BCIT's Student Services department is seeking a temporary, full-time Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide primary care to our student community, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide immunization and vaccination services, health promotion, and patient triage
  • Work collaboratively with the School of Health Sciences to prepare students for clinical placements
  • Develop health awareness programming on campus and participate in various groups/committees
Qualifications:
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
  • Current BCCNM practicing license and valid CPR certificate
  • Minimum five years related experience, preferably working with post-secondary student populations
  • Experience with immunizations, TB Skin testing, contact screening, and phlebotomy
  • Clinical experience in primary, public, and mental health care ideal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
