Regional Supply Chain Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Wakefield Canada Inc. as a key member of our Supply Chain department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the regional Supply Chain team and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of products to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Lead the regional Supply Chain team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Supply Chain Operations: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of supply chain activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, to ensure seamless and efficient product delivery.
- Collaboration and Communication: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Planning, and Quality, to ensure alignment and effective communication to meet customer needs and improve supply chain processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party providers, including transportation and warehousing companies, to ensure reliable and cost-effective services.
- Business Continuity: Ensure business continuity by developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure supply chain resilience.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a supply chain or logistics role, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies, including transportation management, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex supply chain issues and develop effective solutions.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze business data to inform supply chain decisions.
