Director of Finance Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team at Elby Professional Recruitment Inc. in Guelph. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy to align with our company's goals and objectives
  • Manage residential construction projects and oversee financial reporting and related metrics
  • Ensure effective oversight of administrative controls and communicate with partners, investors, and stakeholder groups
  • Lead fundraising activities and manage cash flow to drive business growth
Requirements:
  • CPA designation and at least 5 years of experience at the management level
  • Technical proficiency in financial management and operational accounting
  • Construction industry experience and strong communication skills
  • Experience with Sage is an asset, but not required
