Professional Practice Leader - Registered Dietitian
Job Summary
The St. Joseph's Care Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian to fill the role of Professional Practice Leader. This is a valuable position within the Collaborative Practice Team, responsible for promoting the advancement of the profession through practice, education, and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the profession internally and externally, acting as a liaison with academic institutions and promoting discussion of professional issues within the organization.
- Work collaboratively with Clinical Managers and others to address profession-specific issues and promote interprofessional practice across the organization.
- Provide expertise and guidance to the regulated health professional group and others in the organization on issues specific to the profession.
Requirements
- Current registration with the applicable profession-specific College.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
- Membership with the applicable profession-specific association.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, ideally within an inter-professional environment.
- Excellent leadership, teaching, and mentorship skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based clinical practice and ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in professional/academic writing (reports, proposals, research papers, poster presentations).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
Condition of Employment
- This position is conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
