Professional Practice Leader - Registered Dietitian
The St. Joseph's Care Group is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to fill the role of Professional Practice Leader. This position is a valuable member of the Collaborative Practice Team, responsible for promoting the advancement of the profession through practice, education, and research with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, innovation, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the profession internally and externally
- Act as a liaison with academic institutions
- Promote discussion of professional issues within the organization
- Work collaboratively with Clinical Managers and others to address profession-specific issues
- Promote interprofessional practice across the organization
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the applicable profession-specific College
- Bachelor degree required, Masters preferred
- Membership with the applicable profession-specific association
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, ideally within an inter-professional environment
- Excellent leadership, teaching, and mentorship skills
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based clinical practice and ongoing professional development
- Demonstrated skills and experience in professional/academic writing
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
Condition of Employment:
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
