Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physio/Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Physiotherapy Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care for inpatients under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.
  • Assist with general inpatient treatment and rehabilitation programs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements
  • College Diploma in Physiotherapy Assistant Program.
  • General inpatient treatment experience.
  • Recent experience in a Rehabilitation or Complex Continuing Care setting (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Gentle Persuasive Approach (preferred).
  • Advanced computer skills (preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
