Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care for inpatients under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.
  • Assist with general inpatient treatment and rehabilitation.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • College Diploma in Physiotherapy Assistant Program.
  • General inpatient treatment experience.
  • Recent experience in a Rehabilitation or Complex Continuing Care setting (an asset).
  • Knowledge of Gentle Persuasive Approach (an asset).
  • Advanced computer skills (an asset).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to lift and move patients safely.
  • Acceptable performance and attendance records.
