Position Summary: We are currently seeking Instrumentation Technicians at various experience levels. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Support Journeyman and Apprentice technicians in the upkeep, replacement, and installation of instrumentation equipment.
  • Assist in calibrating and installing instrumentation tubing.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment effectively.
  • Operate advanced calibration devices, including Hart Communicators.
  • Manage basic Instrumentation Test Equipment and perform necessary calibrations.
  • Work with advanced meters to assess continuity, resistance, voltage, and current.
  • Engage with systems such as compressor panels, RTUs, BMS, and production facility apparatus.
  • Understand Gas Detection, LEL Detection, and Fire Detection systems.
  • Work safely around live processes or equipment, following all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician or Registered Apprentice.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean record.
  • H2S, First Aid, OSSA Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, CSO, and CSTS certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas sector, particularly in construction or maintenance, is preferred.
  • Able to work in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings, and from heights as required.
