Position Summary: We are currently in search of Instrumentation Technicians at various experience levels to support our operations. Candidates should be flexible and ready to engage in diverse work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all company policies regarding environmental, health, and safety.
  • Support Journeyman and Apprentice technicians in the upkeep, replacement, and installation of instrumentation systems.
  • Assist in the calibration and installation processes that involve instrumentation tubing.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment effectively, including tubing benders.
  • Operate sophisticated calibration devices such as Hart Communicators and related software.
  • Manage basic Instrumentation Test Equipment and perform necessary calibrations.
  • Conduct advanced meter checks for continuity, resistance, voltage, and current measurements.
  • Engage with systems including compressor panels, RTUs, BMS, line heaters, and production facility apparatus.
  • Maintain awareness of Gas Detection, LEL Detection, and Fire Detection systems.
  • Work safely around active processes or equipment, ensuring adherence to isolation and de-pressurization protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Journeyman Instrumentation Technician or enrollment as a Registered Apprentice.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Certifications in H2S, First Aid, OSSA Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, CSO, and CSTS are advantageous.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas sector, particularly in construction or maintenance, is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to various working conditions, including outdoor and indoor environments, and work at heights when necessary.
