Industrial Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Representative to join our team at Rite-Hite. As an In-Plant Specialist, you will be responsible for increasing Rite-Hite product sales for assigned product lines and various Allied Products lines. You will sell these products to new and existing customers in industrial/commercial, new construction, and nontraditional markets within the assigned geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize Rite-Hite product sales and profitability
- Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships with architects, developers, general contractors, and end-users
- Provide design assistance and advise on industry trends and new/improved equipment
- Assist in developing/writing equipment specifications and proposals
- Utilize sales tools, skills, and resources to effectively sell Rite-Hite products
- Assist in overall district development by providing market data and new approaches to district sales strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
- Three or more years of related sales experience, preferably in material handling or loading dock equipment sales
- Strong mechanical/electronic comprehension and excellent communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
