Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at The Mexican Corner Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, controlling inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff, providing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and other expenses to ensure the restaurant is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop and implement business plans, goals, and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of success in leading a team, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
