Position Overview:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who possesses a strong affinity for numbers, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy within our Accounting team. This role will report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly review, validate, and categorize vendor invoices, statements, and employee expenses using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and departmental managers.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations of vendor statements to ensure accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Execute monthly reconciliations for credit card transactions and pre-authorizations.
- Carry out assigned tasks in accordance with internal operating procedures and external regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
- Address inquiries related to payments from both internal and external parties, ensuring invoices are routed to the appropriate approvers as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Capable of working independently, solving problems, and providing assistance to colleagues when needed.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Adaptability to change with a positive attitude.
- Professional demeanor, including appropriate business attire and positive interactions with colleagues.
