Position Overview:

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who possesses a strong affinity for numbers, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy within our Accounting team. This role will report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Thoroughly review, validate, and categorize vendor invoices, statements, and employee expenses using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  2. Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and departmental managers.
  3. Conduct periodic reconciliations of vendor statements to ensure accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Execute monthly reconciliations for credit card transactions and pre-authorizations.
  5. Carry out assigned tasks in accordance with internal operating procedures and external regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
  6. Address inquiries related to payments from both internal and external parties, ensuring invoices are routed to the appropriate approvers as necessary.
  7. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  1. High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  2. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  3. Capable of working independently, solving problems, and providing assistance to colleagues when needed.
  4. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Adaptability to change with a positive attitude.
  7. Professional demeanor, including appropriate business attire and positive interactions with colleagues.
