Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all general administrative needs of the Accounting/Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all general administrative needs of the Accounting/Finance Department
  • Work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, checks, and other documents
  • Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable, including matching and batching code, processing expense reports, and updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger
  • Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
  • Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department, including managing department mail and assisting internal business partners with customer services needs
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required

Requirements:

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, or similar field
  • Prior experience in an A/P role
  • Expertise in account reconciliation
  • Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in technical and financial backgrounds
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
  • Strong attention to detail
