Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
  • Inspect and check lighting, heating, and ventilation systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs to ensure the good condition of the building and its equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of materials, products, and equipment required for maintenance work.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of other nonspecialized employees as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in maintenance work, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The position requires the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions.
