About the Role

The Technical Assistant plays a vital role in providing administrative support to a team of Property and Casualty insurance brokers at 019979 Hub International Quebec Limited. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can master various administrative tasks and provide exceptional support to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master the concept of billing and ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Manage the financing process, follow up on activities, and request reimbursement cheques from policyholders and/or financing, where applicable
  • Respond to various insurance confirmation requests (certificate, creditor, landlords)
  • Perform clerical tasks, including page layout, preparation of presentations, table of contents, and binders
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Set priorities according to deadlines and respect the pace and needs of other team members
  • Accomplish accurate and precise work

Requirements

  • Degree in office automation, secretarial studies, or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel)
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and meticulousness
  • Ability to analyze and process complex information
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate good team spirit and a willingness to learn and grow

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of EPIC software
  • Experience in a paperless environment
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry
