About the Role
The Technical Assistant plays a vital role in providing administrative support to a team of Property and Casualty insurance brokers at 019979 Hub International Quebec Limited. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can master various administrative tasks and provide exceptional support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Master the concept of billing and ensure accurate and timely processing
- Manage the financing process, follow up on activities, and request reimbursement cheques from policyholders and/or financing, where applicable
- Respond to various insurance confirmation requests (certificate, creditor, landlords)
- Perform clerical tasks, including page layout, preparation of presentations, table of contents, and binders
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
- Set priorities according to deadlines and respect the pace and needs of other team members
- Accomplish accurate and precise work
Requirements
- Degree in office automation, secretarial studies, or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel)
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and meticulousness
- Ability to analyze and process complex information
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrate good team spirit and a willingness to learn and grow
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of EPIC software
- Experience in a paperless environment
- Knowledge of the insurance industry
