Job Opportunity – Marketing Coordinator

The Deerhurst Resort is seeking a highly creative and driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design marketing assets, including social media content, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
  • Produce high-quality visual content, including photography and videography, to support marketing campaigns.
  • Support the maintenance and optimization of the Deerhurst Resort website, ensuring effective SEO and engaging content.
  • Monitor and maintain the resort's online presence on review platforms and social media.
  • Assist in the development of CRM eblasts and blog posts, including copywriting and deployment.
  • Attend special events and activities to conduct on-the-ground social media, photography, and video coverage.

Skills, Abilities & Attributes

  • Passion for storytelling and building brands through compelling content.
  • Excellent communication and graphic design skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Video production abilities and knowledge of preferred video editing software.
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

  • College diploma or university degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, graphic design, production, or related field.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will have a flexible schedule to cover special events and media visits. Tuesday – Saturday work schedule during the busy season.
