Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Process Automation Specialist to join our team in Windsor, Ontario. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving electrical and automated processes in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve automated systems to increase equipment efficiency in high-throughput operations.
  • Team Leadership: Guide both the Electrical and Automation Teams in supporting of the Maintenance Management.
  • Design and Implementation: Ensure functional design specifications are understood and successfully delivered on time and within budget.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports on machinery deficiencies and other reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industrial process automation.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in engineering, instrumentation, process control or electronics.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to prepare technical documentation such as shop drawings, operating manuals, training manuals, equipment reports, and employee assessments.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
