Position Overview

As a Controls Lead at Brave Control Solutions Inc., you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, tailored automation solutions across various sectors including construction, automotive, and food processing.

Your collaboration with project and solution engineers will be essential in executing engineering tasks effectively while ensuring clear communication regarding any challenges or modifications to the project management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software for PLC, robotic systems, and HMI applications from the ground up.
  • Implement safety programming protocols.
  • Design industrial electrical panels and select appropriate components.
  • Test, configure, and integrate motion control systems.
  • Conduct robotics and automation simulations.
  • Oversee debugging and testing processes.
  • Lead machine commissioning and startup activities at client locations.
  • Coordinate with specialists to fulfill project tasks while adhering to quality standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering or technology.
  • A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a technology diploma in the same fields.
  • Eligibility to work in both Canada and the United States.
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management.
  • Proven ability to lead teams of 2-5 individuals.
  • Experience in estimating project costs and preparing proposals.
