Job Title: Accounts Receivable Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team at Maples Physiotherapy. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise a team of accounts receivable staff in duties and policies
  • Prepare and submit reports on accounts receivable activity, including aging reports and cash flow projections
  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment and software used in accounts receivable function
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work of accounts receivable staff
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as required
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments as necessary
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field an asset
