Accounts Receivable Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team at Maples Physiotherapy. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Key Responsibilities:- Train and supervise a team of accounts receivable staff in duties and policies
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
- Ensure smooth operation of equipment and software used in the accounts receivable function
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high quality results
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and software
- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments as required
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
- 5-10 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
