Job Overview

As a pivotal member of the ERP Implementation and Transformation team, the Supply Chain Manager will oversee the modernization of supply chain processes within Mackenzie Health.

This is a permanent full-time position.

Mackenzie Health is undertaking a comprehensive transformation of its corporate services, focusing on the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This initiative is essential for enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and expertise in the deployment of supply chain functionalities, including purchasing, materials management, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation Leadership

Lead the supply chain team in collaboration with project management to assign tasks, identify risks, and ensure resource availability. Conduct thorough analysis to gather supply chain requirements and align them with business objectives. Monitor adherence to program methodologies and standards while tracking assumptions and constraints. Collaborate with vendors to identify and modify functional procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational change management strategies. Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project deliverables and timelines. Foster a culture of collaboration and best practices among team members and stakeholders. Work cross-functionally to ensure successful program execution and stakeholder engagement. Collaborate with technical teams to develop functional specifications and support data conversion efforts. Participate in procurement processes as necessary. Formulate and implement technology plans that align with Mackenzie Health's supply chain objectives. Ensure continuous improvement and efficiency in supply chain operations post-implementation.

Post-Implementation Support

Develop and deliver training materials and user guides to facilitate understanding of the ERP system. Provide ongoing support and guidance to departments regarding supply chain processes and system enhancements. Monitor system performance and address issues proactively to optimize operations. Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to uphold data governance standards. Act as a subject matter expert for ERP functionalities and ensure data integrity. Develop metrics to assess system efficiency and user satisfaction. Engage in the continuous monitoring of industry trends to inform future developments.

Qualifications:

A post-secondary degree in information technology management, business, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in translating supply chain requirements into project specifications, preferably in a healthcare context. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and compliance standards. Proven ability to document business processes and train end-users effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities. Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in project management and change management within large organizations. Previous leadership experience in supply chain roles. Relevant certifications in project management or change management.
