The Strategy & Innovation team plays a pivotal role in pinpointing, assessing, and implementing growth and innovation strategies across the organization, with an emphasis on strategic planning, project execution, and sustained business development through technology.

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Strategy & Innovation Manager, the intern will have a distinctive opportunity to influence MLSE's operations through research, analytical tasks, strategic insight generation, and the enhancement of fan engagement, ultimately driving business success and supporting overall organizational growth.

Our internship program is designed to ensure that interns are well-prepared for their roles. Interns within the Strategy & Innovation team will manage projects from inception to completion and collaborate with cross-functional teams, engaging with stakeholders throughout the organization. We are committed to providing mentorship and networking opportunities to support professional development during the internship.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop engaging Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to convey analysis and insights Assist in the conceptualization and development of both short-term and long-term strategic initiatives using a data-informed approach Lead or support the creation of business cases and the execution of pilot projects Prepare and present strategic reports for diverse audiences, including senior management and partners Aid in the establishment of KPIs and benchmarks for new strategic initiatives Conduct research and provide insights on industry-standard practices within the sports and entertainment sector Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate and execute various initiatives Adhere to the Occupational Health & Safety Act and follow all health and safety policies Perform additional administrative or support tasks as required

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Capable of identifying business challenges and initiating research and analysis to provide actionable recommendations Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a keen attention to detail Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on collaboration Previous experience in research and analysis, including modeling and analytics, is advantageous Experience in project management is a plus Availability for full-time hours with flexibility for event-related work
