Location: Poland

Duration: Renewable contracts available
Working hours: Classes primarily scheduled during evenings and weekends
Compensation: Hourly rate based on a sliding pay scale

Role Context and Purpose

We seek freelance educators to collaborate with our academic and teaching teams in delivering lessons and services at our teaching centers. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in working with young learners, supported by relevant studies and experience, and a commitment to partnering with a global leader in English education, with access to professionally recognized training.

Our teaching centers deliver a substantial number of class hours to a diverse student body weekly. Classes are conducted in various settings, including on-site and off-site locations. We also offer corporate lessons and training in business environments.

Our curriculum includes two semesters and summer courses catering to learners of all ages and proficiency levels. We also provide specialized corporate courses and cultural workshops. Adult General English and Cambridge Exam courses are offered throughout the year, utilizing an online model.

Responsibilities

Design, prepare, and deliver a predetermined number of high-quality English language lessons for both adult and young learners. Track student progress and provide consistent feedback to enhance performance throughout the course, while actively promoting learner independence. Contribute to the development, assessment, and enhancement of English language courses, materials, and related services to meet student needs, collaborating effectively with the teaching team. Complete teaching-related administrative tasks in accordance with specified standards. Uphold safeguarding and guidelines in alignment with policies regarding: Child protection and adult safeguarding Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Safety and Security

Due to ongoing global circumstances, educators may be required to conduct lessons online.

Freelance educators may be assigned up to 15 hours of work per week, with the expectation to cover the complete teaching schedule for their assigned classes. Opportunities for standby and long-term cover work may also be available.

Requirements

Applicants must possess the right to live and work in the EU. Work permits cannot be secured for non-EU nationals. All candidates are required to obtain a police check prior to employment. Applicants will be engaged as independent contractors and must be established as self-employed prior to commencement.

We offer support with paperwork and official processes to assist with potential language barriers.

Qualifications:

First Degree (or equivalent) Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL (Core) or PGCE

Skills:

High proficiency in English, achieving a CEFR level of C2 or IELTS Band 8+ across all sections of the academic module.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' post-certificate experience (Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL). Experience teaching at least three of the relevant age groups: Primary Young Learners: 6 to 7 years old Primary Learners: 8 to 10 years old Secondary Learners: 11 to 14 years old Secondary Learners: 15 to 17 years old Adults General English

Newly qualified teachers lacking this level of experience may participate in our Foundation Teacher Programme, which includes mentorship and a tailored training curriculum to support their development as English educators.

Young Learners aged 6 or younger Experience across multiple age groups

Please note that one-on-one tutoring will not be considered relevant teaching experience.
