Job Title: Maintenance Millwright Specialist at DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright Specialist to contribute to our tradition of excellence in the dairy processing industry.

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production.
  • Manage inventory and order parts for maintenance to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Install, modify, and complete equipment changeovers as needed to meet production demands.
  • Coordinate with contractors and oversee project assignments to ensure successful completion.
  • Maintain equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
  • Document all maintenance records to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support all shifts and be available for overtime as needed to meet business demands.

Requirements:

  • Industrial Maintenance Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in the food industry, preferably in dairy processing.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding principles.
  • Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot equipment to identify issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative to drive results.
  • Dependable with a good attendance and safety record.
