Exciting Opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at a reputable food company in Georgetown. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching and feedback to maintenance team members to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Analyze downtime to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) in conjunction with the production supervisor and team.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders and internal team members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee health, safety, and food-grade policies and procedures to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
  • Manage the transition of CMMS, inventory, and asset management to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Assist with the hiring and onboarding of new staff to ensure a smooth transition into the team.
Requirements:
  • 433A Millwright Certificate or 442A with extensive experience in a maintenance/manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to work 3-11 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Experience in a food, pharmaceutical, or oil and gas environment preferred.
  • Team lead or previous supervisory experience.
  • Ability to adapt and be a beacon of change.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player.
  • Experience with SAP and/or CMMS systems a major asset.
