Millwright Technician

At DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P., we're committed to excellence and care in everything we do. As a Millwright, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in breakdown situations, using your analytical skills and knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Manage the stockroom and order parts as needed to maintain equipment and minimize downtime.
• Install, modify, and change over equipment as required, working with other trades groups to complete projects.
• Document and maintain records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with GMPs and corporate quality and sanitation requirements.
• Work safely and follow OH&S, WSIB, and company policies and procedures.

• Professional Certificate of Industrial Maintenance (e.g., 442A Certificate of Qualification) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, with equipment repair and welding experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience related to the food industry, preferably dairy or high-speed process equipment or packaging.
• Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge, with experience in boiler, refrigeration, and air handling systems an asset.
• Ability to read blueprints, troubleshoot, and analyze problems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
