Position Summary:
The Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and maintenance activities for their team, reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor. This position is safety-sensitive and requires a proactive approach to managing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production, maintenance, and development tasks related to rinsing operations at the Process test facility.
- Ensure continuous monitoring of plant and reverse osmosis (RO) operations by the team.
- Prepare daily shift reports, manage team member time reporting, and complete inspection forms.
- Assist in the inventory management and procurement of necessary spare parts and supplies.
- Facilitate safety training for team members and maintain the training/progression matrix.
- Conduct performance evaluations in collaboration with the Senior Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in copper processing, maintenance, wellfield operations, or water treatment.
- Required supervisory or leadership experience, with completion of accredited supervisory training being advantageous.
- An associate degree or higher in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet critical deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment:
This role involves a combination of office tasks and outdoor work in various weather conditions. Compliance with the site safety program is mandatory.
