Position Overview:
The Night Operations Manager is tasked with assembling and nurturing a team of Sales Representatives, which includes both full-time and part-time personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves overseeing the Sales Representatives and enhancing sales performance within large retail and grocery sectors. The Night Operations Manager will collaborate closely with the Regional Field Manager, ensuring consistent communication and monitoring of the field team's performance against established goals.

Travel Requirements:
This position operates from a home office and necessitates travel flexibility, ranging from 50% to 75% within the designated district for field visits, as well as occasional trips to client headquarters or retailer meetings.

Team Leadership:
Acting as the primary contact for Sales Representatives in the assigned district, the Night Operations Manager will provide ongoing sales support, training, and merchandising execution for various clients.

Recruitment and Training:
This role includes final interviews and hiring of team members, managing all facets of their training, scheduling, visit execution, report completion, and overall team performance management.

Performance Management:
Responsible for managing field performance outcomes, the Night Operations Manager will set team and individual performance objectives with a strong emphasis on accountability. The ability to analyze data and develop strategies to meet district and program objectives is essential.

Field Insights:
Regularly providing field insights and competitive intelligence to both clients and field teams is a critical aspect of this role.

Coaching and Support:
Continuous contact, coaching, mentoring, and support will be provided on both an individual and group basis to ensure that business results are achieved and surpassed throughout the district.

Adaptability:
A proven capacity to adjust to a dynamic business environment while proactively ensuring that the field organization meets or exceeds client expectations is crucial.

Relationship Building:
Developing strong relationships with store associates and management through consistent and professional communication is vital.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of management experience in retail, merchandising, training, sales, or field marketing.
- Previous experience in retail sales and merchandising management in grocery and large retail environments is highly preferred.
- A home office with internet connectivity is required.
- Proficient computer skills, including internet usage, email, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, capable of working independently with minimal supervision while adhering to ethical and professional business practices.
- Ability to communicate field issues effectively, including "red flag" situations, representative turnover, and program challenges, using solution-oriented communication.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
