Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to oversee the nightly accounting operations of our esteemed establishment, Hôtel Nelligan. As a key member of our team, you will ensure seamless financial operations, maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations: Perform all accounting tasks related to the night audit, including reconciliations, deposits, and financial reporting.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports to relevant managers, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Security and Guest Services: Ensure the security of the premises and guests, providing exceptional service and maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with internal and external services, maintaining effective communication and fostering a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in hotel reception and a good knowledge of the local area and tourist attractions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with hotel management software, such as Opera (or equivalent).
  • Language: Bilingual in French and English for effective communication with an international clientele.
