Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct corporate bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Examine processed cheques, void cheques, and electronic funds transfers, while verifying direct deposits.
  • Execute vendor cheque and EFT procedures across various departments.
  • Resolve cheque and commission-related entries in the general ledger.
  • Facilitate journal entries and gather essential documentation.
  • Assist fellow team members as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of post-secondary education in business, accounting, or finance.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in preparing financial information.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with general ledger and financial systems, with a preference for SAP.
  • Strong analytical abilities and a high level of accountability.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
