{"Job Title": "Senior Policy and Program Analyst", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy and Program Analyst to join our team at the Manitoba Government. As a key member of our policy and program development team, you will play a critical role in researching, analyzing, and making recommendations on policies, programs, legislations, regulations, and statutes.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct research and analysis on policy and program developments within various branches
* Provide high-level advice and guidance on various issues, including financial and legal implications
* Prepare various materials such as advisory notes, speaking notes, correspondence, Treasury Board and Cabinet Submissions, and other reports and briefing materials
* Represent the unit on various groups or committees and coordinate and lead complex projects in collaboration with diverse stakeholders

Requirements:

* Post-secondary degree, preferably at a masters level, in social sciences, public administration, law, economics, environmental studies, education or a related discipline
* Experience in researching, developing and evaluating policy and/or programs, ideally within a public sector setting
* Excellent written communication skills, including experience writing a variety of documents and reports for various audiences
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources
* Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong understanding of the principles of reconciliation and the ability to build relationships with Indigenous peoples, communities and organizations
* Experience with stakeholder engagement and consultations
* Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in French
