Job Summary

BWXT Canada Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Cambridge, Ontario. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring all financial aspects of contracts, preparing sales invoices, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage financial aspects of contracts, including project setup, budget changes, and revenue recognition.
  • Prepare and issue sales invoices to customers and follow up on accounts receivables.
  • Account for F/X forward contracts as it relates to the project.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts, financial reports, and variance analysis reports.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Purchasing, Manufacturing, Legal, Engineering, Sales, Proposals, and Project Accounting.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Accounting designation or enrollment in an accounting designation program is an asset.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and knowledge of SAP and Timberline.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues.
