Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at BWX Technologies, Inc. in Cambridge, Ontario. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring all financial aspects of contracts, preparing sales invoices, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and issue sales invoices to customers and follow up on accounts receivables.
  • Account for foreign exchange forward contracts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts and financial reports to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing, Manufacturing, Legal, Engineering, and Sales, to ensure accurate financial information and compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Accounting designation or enrollment in an accounting designation program is an asset.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and knowledge of SAP is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
