Job Title: Finance Analyst

Darling International Canada Inc. is a global leader in creating sustainable food, feed, and fuel solutions from organic by-products. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and success.

Job Summary:

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of tasks within the Finance Team, including financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting. The successful candidate will become a key member of the Operations group and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions
  • Assist in the preparation of the company's annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of financial transactions and reporting
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Enrollment in the CPA program is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software
