Role Responsibilities:
The Data Platform Group, part of the Ubisoft Data Office within Ubisoft IT, is responsible for developing and managing data services and tools that facilitate game telemetry. Your role will involve:

  • Transforming in-game data into clear, actionable visualizations that empower production teams to make informed decisions.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and agile methodologies to standardize processes throughout the Machine Learning (ML) lifecycle.
  • Supporting teams in the creation, testing, and deployment of ML solutions that enhance safety, personalization, and scalability of ML/AI applications.
  • Automating and streamlining ML workflows and deployments, integrating software engineering with ML operations.
  • Collaborating with Data Scientists, Software Developers, and various stakeholders to tackle complex challenges and deliver tangible value.

Key Contributions:
In this role, you will:

  • Govern and contribute to the industrialization of ML/AI projects, focusing on the deployment and maintenance of pipelines and models in production.
  • Design and implement services, tests, and interfaces that facilitate the deployment of ML projects.
  • Play a pivotal role in the architecture of machine learning systems, ensuring security, robustness, and performance during production deployments.
  • Establish scalable, end-to-end, continuous, and automated deployment, monitoring, and versioning processes for ML models.
  • Guide and support users in optimizing ML pipelines, becoming a subject matter expert on the Databricks platform.
  • Engage in proof-of-concept projects to advance knowledge of emerging ML technologies.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who are proficient in both the broader and detailed aspects of Data Science/ML Engineering, with strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field, with a focus on enhancing model and data quality.
  • A proven track record of building automated AI processes and managing large-scale data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark, PySpark, data engineering, and pipeline architecture.
  • A solid foundation in software engineering principles and proficiency in DevOps tools and practices.
