We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our Engine Systems Performance division. In this role, you will be responsible for comprehending technical modifications, troubleshooting challenges, and collaborating with various team members to enhance the performance of our gaming experiences and development processes. Your contributions will significantly influence the player engagement within the Battlefield series.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of programming expertise in C++.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Effective communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge in concurrency, memory management, and performance enhancement.
  • Experience in developing applications for diverse platforms.
  • Proficient in handling extensive codebases and multi-product development.
  • Capability to lead intricate investigations and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Performance team and Engine organization to meet collective objectives.
  • Guide and mentor fellow software developers.
  • Evaluate game performance and identify critical areas for improvement.
  • Perform root cause analysis and suggest corrective measures.
  • Support in diagnosing and optimizing performance hindrances.
  • Review technical design documents and propose alternative solutions.
  • Spot opportunities for enhancing tools and workflows.
  • Advance the toolset to accommodate new features and challenges.
