About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Engine Developer to join our team at Amazon Games. As a key member of our game engine team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our game engine architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the game engine team, ensuring that our game engine meets the highest standards of performance and quality.
  • Architecture and Design: Design and develop the game engine architecture, ensuring that it is scalable, efficient, and meets the needs of our game development teams.
  • Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain the game engine, ensuring that it is stable, performant, and meets the needs of our game development teams.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game development, art, and design, to ensure that our game engine meets the needs of our game development teams.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Share your knowledge and expertise with other team members, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow and develop their skills.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in game engine development, including C++ programming, game engine architecture, and performance optimization.
