About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Franchise Sales Manager to join our team in the Ontario region. As a key member of our Canadian team, you will play a crucial role in executing our market plan for multi-unit owner consolidation.

The successful candidate will facilitate the execution of cross-functional market consolidation plans, driving operational synergies and franchisee profitability. You will educate and guide franchisees on the benefits of market consolidation, evaluate and identify qualified franchisees to grow their portfolio, and make recommendations to drive market optimization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement market consolidation strategies using market mapping tools.
  • Evaluate and identify franchisees who are qualified to grow their portfolio by acquiring existing restaurants and building new ones.
  • Complete rigorous financial analysis and make recommendations regarding requested store closures and transfers.
  • Attend Franchise Shows and Expos to recruit new multi-unit owners to Subway.
  • Build, develop, and maintain relationships with existing franchisees and new multi-unit operators.
  • Implement market expansion plans by coaching and mentoring franchisees and acting as a brand ambassador.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, excellent time management and communication skills, good relationship building skills, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  • Management experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial workouts, and financial consulting, preferably in a QSR environment.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and experience leading cross-functional decision-making.
  • Experience or understanding of overall market planning, franchise and licensing law, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of Strategic Planning, Sales Analysis, Consumer Insights, and Brand Management.
  • Experience using MS Outlook, MS Teams, Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sitewise.
