Our organization, DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Program Coordinator II, Early Years. This position will play a critical role in supporting the smooth operation of various early years services, working closely with the Manager of Early Years Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and monitor early-years program deliverables to ensure successful program implementation and evaluation.
  • Compile and submit reports to various funders and stakeholders, providing detailed information on program progress and outcomes.
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Provide support for program guidelines, policies, and licensing requirements, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and statistics for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry, maintaining the integrity of program data.
  • Coordinate program meetings, workshops, and events, facilitating communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support on invoicing and expense reconciliation, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Represent the organization in external meetings and events, promoting the organization's mission and values.
  • Facilitate referrals to the program, ensuring seamless access to services for clients.
  • Promote public awareness and support for the program, engaging with community stakeholders and partners.
  • Research and identify community resources and networks, building partnerships and collaborations to enhance program delivery.
  • Supervise program staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective program implementation.
  • Lead recruitment and hiring of program volunteers, ensuring a diverse and skilled team.
  • Provide input and recommendations for program capacity building, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
  • Complete other assigned tasks and responsibilities, as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in social services, education, or a related field.
  • Experience in supporting early years refugee programs, with a strong understanding of refugee, newcomer, and migration challenges.
  • Community outreach and event planning experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills an asset.
