Early Years Program Manager

DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society is looking for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Early Years Program Manager. Collaborating closely with the Early Years Services Manager, the Early Years Program Manager will undertake a variety of administrative responsibilities and program management tasks to facilitate the effective functioning of diverse early years initiatives. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering programmatic, operational, communication, and administrative assistance across several initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor early years program outcomes to ensure effective implementation and evaluation
  • Prepare reports for various stakeholders and funding bodies
  • Manage daily program activities
  • Assist in the development of program policies, guidelines, and compliance with licensing standards
  • Maintain comprehensive records and statistics for reporting purposes
  • Ensure precise and timely data management
  • Organize program meetings and events
  • Provide support regarding invoicing and financial reconciliation
  • Act as a representative for the organization at external meetings and events
  • Facilitate referrals to the program
  • Enhance public awareness and support for the program
  • Investigate community resource networks
  • Supervise program personnel
  • Lead the recruitment and onboarding of program volunteers
  • Contribute to the development of program capacity
  • Complete additional assigned responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in social services or a related discipline
  • Experience in supporting early years programs for refugees
  • Background in community outreach and event coordination
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by refugees, newcomers, and migrants
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
