**Job Summary**
DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator II, Early Years to join our team. As a key member of our Early Years Services department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and program management expertise to ensure the smooth functioning of our early years services.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Track early-years program deliverables to ensure successful program implementation and monitoring.
- Provide guidance and support in the compilation of reporting for various funders and programs within the department.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the program by coordinating necessary facilities and equipment.
- Provide support and input for program guidelines and policies, program standards, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain related records and statistics for input to quarterly and annual reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of data into the new track system.
- Coordinate monthly program meetings.
- Provide administrative guidance on invoicing and reconciliation of program expenses.
- Represent the organization or program in external meetings and events as necessary.
- Share and collect mutually relevant information with internal departments and community partners; facilitate referrals to the program.
- Promote public awareness of and support for the program using promotional materials, conducting marketing campaigns, and attending community events.
- Research and compile a comprehensive database of community resources networks.
- Supervise program administrative assistant and Early Childhood Educators.
- Lead the recruitment and hiring of program volunteers.
- Provide input for program capacity building.
- Complete all other related tasks as assigned by the Manager.
**Requirements**
- A post-secondary degree in social services, humanities, or other relevant field of work and more than 2 years of relevant work in the community/social services sector.
- A recent experience supporting Early Years refugee programs is required.
- Experience in community outreach and event planning.
- Experience working with diverse and multi-lingual groups.
- Knowledge of refugee, newcomer, and migration challenges.
- Knowledge of community resources for families with school-age children.
- Excellent problem-solving ability, communication skills, discretion, and judgment.
- The ability to work collectively in a team environment.
- Strong English language written skills.
- Fluency in an additional language is an asset.
