We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Condominium Law Specialist to join our team at Linds & Associates. As a key member of our law firm, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our lawyers and clients in the area of condominium law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of condominium unit closing documents, including sales and disclosure documentation.
- Prepare and register condominiums and related by-laws, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate directly with clients and other lawyers' offices to provide timely and accurate information.
- Draft and amend correspondence, including letters and reports, to clients and other stakeholders.
- Perform sub-searches of title and off-title searches, and prepare various documents in Teraview, including transfers, charges, easements, notices, and condominium by-laws.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
- A diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in condominium law, with a strong understanding of condominium projects and related sales and disclosure documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, WordPerfect, Excel, and Conveyancer, as well as PC Law and Teraview.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
