Health and Wellness Manager

Island Health is seeking a highly qualified professional to fill the role of Health and Wellness Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a university degree and a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the field of wellness, psychological safety, project management, change management, and quality improvement. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management/leadership is also required.
A valid BC Driver's License is also a requirement for this position.
Key Skills and Abilities- Strong systems thinking and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to champion and orchestrate change by actively contributing to the change processes that improve the quality of health service delivery across an organization.
- Ability to encourage and support innovation by creating a climate of continuous improvement and creativity aimed at systemic change.
- Ability to orient oneself strategically to the future by continually scanning the environment for ideas, leading practices, and emerging trends that will shape the system.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
