About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at KS Concrete Cutting & Coring Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing layouts, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 hours per week
