We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at KS Concrete Cutting & Coring Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Work in confined spaces, with noise, dust, and heavy loads
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade
- Permanent employment
- 30 hours per week
- English language proficiency
Our team works in a fast-paced construction environment with a focus on quality and safety. As a Carpenter, you will be required to work in confined spaces, with noise, dust, and heavy loads.
