Client Service Specialist, Private Banking

Role Contribution: The Client Service Specialist plays a vital role in the success of the Private Banking division by ensuring that specific individual objectives, plans, and initiatives are effectively executed to support the team's goals. This position is focused on delivering outstanding personal service in all activities that assist the Private Banking team, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Enhance Client Satisfaction: Achieve service excellence by:
- Providing consistently exceptional client experiences and embodying 'Our Service Promise' through friendly, helpful, efficient, and professional interactions.
- Delivering outstanding service and support while employing innovative solutions to address client and team service challenges, all while adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Assisting the Private Banking Team with client inquiries and complaints, ensuring that any issues raised are communicated to the team promptly.
- Support Operational Quality and Compliance: Contribute to the efficiency of branch operations and adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines by:
- Following cash, custody, and security protocols, as well as bank policies at all times.
- Accurately processing daily transactions and service requests originating from the Private Banking Team and clients.
- Reporting any fraudulent activities, unusual occurrences, or compliance issues to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements as part of the service process, including privacy, occupational health and safety, anti-money laundering, and other relevant guidelines.
- Proficient in PC and keyboarding skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with branch systems such as Salesforce and other relevant tools.
- Ability to adapt to a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities.
- Capable of working independently while adhering to assigned authority limits.
- Awareness of client needs and commitment to privacy.
- Ensuring transactions are processed efficiently and accurately while complying with established guidelines.
- Knowledge of service and complaint resolution standards.
- Fluency in both English and French is essential, as communication with an English-speaking clientele is required.
