Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Banker to join our team at TD. As a Private Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with high net worth individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Building
    • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing relationships.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and objectives.
  • Financial Planning and Advice
    • Provide personalized financial planning and advice to clients, including investment, credit, and banking solutions.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that meet clients' needs and goals.
  • Product and Service Knowledge
    • Stay up-to-date on TD's products and services, including banking, credit, and investment solutions.
    • Provide clients with expert advice on TD's products and services, ensuring they are aware of the benefits and features.
  • Risk Management and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and TD's policies and procedures.
    • Identify and manage risks associated with client relationships and transactions.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other TD teams, including Wealth Management and Commercial Banking.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary degree in a related field, such as finance or business.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in wealth management or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including banking, credit, and investment solutions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
