Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Home Care. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Assist clients with medication management and administration.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and feeding.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to lift and move clients safely and efficiently.
